'ONE NINE NINE FOUR' FILM CLIP
Documenting the birth, growth and explosion of punk rock in the '90s, 'One Nine Nine Four' is set to be a pretty damn special documentary film. Here's a clip from the film about the link between punk and skateboarding. Despite some financial setbacks it's due for a US release later this year and we're hoping for an international release to follow hot on its heels. Currently “trying to curb our excitement” about playing at SXSW festival in Texas, this month’s Vans Band Tip are Preston’s finest melodic/technical punk rockers, who are all set to spread their sound to uncharted territories and catch up with some old friends Stateside. They’re also hoping to head back to the U.S. fairly soon. But they’ve also been hard at work at home, as vocalist Jim Norris tells us.
“So far this year we’ve been working really hard in the practice room writing songs and throwing ideas around for a third album. It’s been great having a substantial break from the live scene to really concentrate on writing, but we’re raring to get going again and let the new songs off the leash. We’ve been in talks with some great producers about our next record who have really understood our approach and want to make it sound as massive as we do!” Myspace.com/failsafemusic
